Runway placement, preparation, choreography, rehearsal, credentials, professional hair styling and makeup, and official media.
Official Fee
International models: ¥64,000 JPY
Travel & Stay
Airfare, accommodation, local transportation, meals, and personal travel costs are arranged independently by each participant.
Selection Timeline
Rolling review with selected candidates normally contacted within 10 business days of submission.
Inclusive Eligibility
Emerging and experienced participants are welcome. Professional runway experience and a professional portfolio are not required. We consider individual presence, readiness to prepare, and suitability for the participating collections. Minors require parent or guardian consent and an approved adult chaperone.
Photography & Media
Participants receive 3–5 professionally edited photos. Each designer collection receives a production video segment. Assets are delivered after the necessary editing and review are complete; usage and credits are confirmed during onboarding.

Styling & Pictorials
Professional hair styling and makeup are included. Pictorials take place on March 28 and the morning of March 29, according to your assigned schedule. Individual call times and session locations are shared before arrival.
Your participating designer confirms your runway outfit and fitting requirements directly with you before arrival in Japan.
Your Official Media
3–5 professionally edited photos per participant and a production video segment for each designer collection.
Assets are delivered after editing and review are complete. Usage and credits are confirmed during onboarding.

Who may apply?
Sakura Runway welcomes models of diverse backgrounds, identities, nationalities, body types, and levels of experience. Invited participants may register through their dedicated pathway, while independent models worldwide are welcome to apply. Candidates under 18 may participate with written parent or legal-guardian consent, a guardian-signed participation agreement, and an approved adult chaperone present for official activities in Japan.
Do I need prior runway experience or agency representation to apply?
No. Sakura Runway celebrates diversity and authentic passion for fashion and culture. We welcome both seasoned models and emerging talent. Our production team provides complete choreography guidance, fittings, and rehearsal support so you can step onto the stage with total confidence.
What is included in the participant experience?
Selected participants receive runway preparation, professional hair styling and makeup, backstage coordination, and 3–5 professionally edited photos. Each designer collection receives a production video segment. Your participating designer confirms your runway outfit and fitting requirements directly with you before arrival in Japan.
